Hello again everyone, this is going to be my final summary, and the finale, of Batman- the court of owls vol. 1.
I ended off last time with Batman finding a ton of coffins in a room inside the labyrinth and 2 of them were empty after he noticed that he saw 2 figures at the back of the room. Batman then went over to the figures and they were his 2 dead parents, Thomas and Martha Wayne! He began to cry and he hugged them. They than began to tell him that he let them die and that it was his fault. They then began to decay rapidly in his arms and they turned to ash; Batman was confused but he moved on. He was slowly going insane inside this place; the white rooms were becoming black, and his world was turning upside down. After traveling through many dark rooms he just broke down in a room that had water on the floor. He began rambling then… SLISH!!! He was stabbed through the back. Then the masked man showed up and said “Batman, the court of owls has sentenced you to die”. Batman then went unconscious and woke up in Wayne manor with bandages, an I.V., amongst other medical devices attached to him. He asked Alfred what happened and he said that one of his sidekicks found him bleeding in the sewers. Batman then questioned himself wondering if he was dreaming or not. The book then cut back to the court of owls and a man in an owl mask was talking to others in owl masks and was saying that Gotham was needing a fresh start. Then all of the caskets in the room opened up and hundreds of dead people rose and ran from the room.
That is where the book ended, on a huge cliff hanger. I may go read the next one but we’ll see lol. Thanks for reading about Batman and the court of owls. Come back next time for a new blog :)

Batman- The Court of Owls vol. 1 Summary- Part 3
Hello again readers, I’m glad that you are all back to read my summary of Batman and the court of owls vol. 1.
We ended off last time with Batman being attacked, knocked out, then waking up in a place called the labyrinth; so it turns out that while Batman had been looking for the serial killer the serial killer, and his organization, were hunting Batman! We continue our story with Batman determined to find his way out of the labyrinth and find out who is hunting him, and why. After walking, for what seems like days, Batman enters a room with hundreds of pictures on the walls. After inspecting the pictures he finds one with Bruce Wayne’s picture on it, and right beside it he finds a picture of an old/dead looking Bruce; He then gets scared and leaves. He then goes into another room with hundreds of red caskets in it; each one has a name and a date on it. 2 of the caskets are open so he walks over to them and looks inside. He sees nothing in them but in the distance there are 2 figures standing at the end of the room.
Who are these people? Read my next blog to find out :)
Batman- The Court of Owls vol. 1 Summary- Part 2
Hello again everyone :). Today I’m going to continue my summary of Batman and the court of owls vol. 1.
I ended off with Batman going to find out who the mystery serial killer is in Gotham. After he found out that Dick was innocent he tracked down where the killer’s hideout. After looking around the place he detected that it was booby-trapped and the entire building he was in exploded with him barely able to make it out. Batman then used the clues he had gathered at the scene to track the killer. Once Batman traced him to the underground sewers of Gotham city he was doing detective work when the killer jumped out of the shadows and he attacked Batman; knocking him unconscious. Batman awake in a white room and heard a voice tell him… “Welcome you to the labyrinth”. The big twist was that the killer, and his entire organization had been hunting Batman!
Where will this lead Batman?; read my next blog to find out ;)
Batman- The Court of Owls vol. 1 Summary- Part 1
Hello guys and gals, I'm back again talking about Batman- the court of owls vol. 1. I've decided that I will write about this book for now, but things could change... Who knows right! :)
I am currently reading Batman the court of owls vol. 1. This is a book that is following batman as he fights to try and discover who the mysterious serial killer in gotham is. Batman begins by overhearing commissioner Gordon talking to an officer at the scene of a crime. He goes to the crime scene to discover a man being hung up in a crucifix position with many knives stuck up in him. Batman does a dna analysis on the knives and he finds that the dna on the knife belongs to Dick Grayson! Batman asks Dick about why he found this, and he explains that he saw the man and he told him “They will not stop” and more… Batman then realises that Dick is innocent and begins to work tirelessly until he finds the killer.
There is an unexpected twist that occurs after this realisation, but I’ll save that for next time. Thanks for reading :)
My First Blog :)
Hello fellow bloggers, my name is Tanner; and this is my first ever blog! I will be telling you readers about the latest books I have been reading.
Lately I have been reading the Batman (New 52) series, The Court of Owls. In this series batman is dealing with a group of criminals who have been running Gotham City from the shadows called the court of owls.
I also plan on Reading Macbeth by William Shakespeare, as well as other novels either by myself or in a literacy circle.
But I don't just plan on just writing about the books I have read, but just about my grade 12 experiences with friends, school, basketball amongst others!
The books that I have read in past are Hit and Run, Monster, and other books like that for school; but you guys probably don't care about that. The books I have read on my own include titles such as Star wars- Boba Fett, Batman- Wayne of Gotham, and a few other books in that genre.
Star Wars- Boba Fett tells the story of Boba Fett through his perspective during Episode 2 "Attack of the Clones". I found it to be a very interesting read because it tells the story of a very iconic Star Wars character that we don't know much about. Batman- Wayne of Gotham is a litterateur novel that tells the story of Batman's relationships with different people in Gotham as well as tells a story of his parents Thomas and Martha Wayne. I would recommend both of these books to nerdy kindm of kids that aren't really into reading like me; this gives them a topic that they will enjoy and one that they can stay focused to!
Well that's it for now, come back later for more blogs :)
